Forrest Black and yours truly are doing a signing at the La Luz de Jesus art gallery Friday, May 8, from 7pm to 10pm. Malice McMunn, Agent Aeon, Alley Shiver, and more cool folks will be in attendance. And the LA Weekly just made the California Deathrock book signing party their Go LA most highlighted pick of the week! Not only that, but it is their People 2015 issue and their People editions are one of the two most important issues of the year! The insightful article was written by Liz Ohanesian, an author who clearly got what she was writing about. I don’t usually editorialize on this blog, but I’m just so excited.

We are just waiting until the end of the pledge period today at 2:50pm Pacific to figure out just how fabulous we can make it. Yay! The California Deathrock book Kickstarter project Forrest Black and yours truly are working on is 104% funded. That means the Kickstarter is successful and the book is definitely going to happen. I am so incredibly happy about this. There are still two weeks left in the Kickstarter for people to pledge too. Meeting the goal this early means there is still time for the book to end up even thicker and to get distro to more places, depending on what level of funding it ends up at. Thank you so much to everyone who has supported this project so far.

Yay! The California Deathrock book Kickstarter project Forrest Black and yours truly are working on is 52% funded. According to Kickstarter, projects which hit the halfway point have a 90% probability of going the distance. I was really nervous about doing the video part, but we finally put a video together and here it is! Special thanks to Death Guild and Release the Bats where some of this video was shot. Much love to Margo, Satoki, Thee Gabe, Domiana, Kat, Thistle (RIP), Talia, Christian, Eva O, and everyone else in the contact sheets and photos and video footage.

Whoo-hoo! The California Deathrock book Kickstarter project Forrest Black and yours truly are working on is 46% funded. This is looking like it is really going to happen. I added a handful of thumbs of images from our deathrock photographic work, not necessarily shots which will specifically be in the book if funded but examples I am fond of from the series.
